Sodium Nitrite liquid filter to check stray light at 385nm
The sodium nitrite liquid filter consists of 50g/l sodium nitrite in pure water. This filter is suited to check the stray light of a spectrometer in the spectral range between 300 nm and 385 nm, its cut off is at about 385 nm.
Currently there are different methods used in the European Pharmacopoeia (EP) and the United States Pharmacopoeia (USP) to determine the stray light.
- Testing accoring to EP (European Pharmacopoeia):
- Testing accoring to USP 857 (U.S. Pharmacopoeia):
|Article-no.||EP Set: 667102 (667011 (UV11) / 667012 (UV12))|
USP-Set: 667102H (667011 (UV11) / 667011H (UV11H))
